Thank you to everyone who made this year's event a huge success! “Lights! Glamour! Action!” ™ was held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture. Pittsburgh turned on the glitz and glamour while celebrating Oscar™ night! The evening included a red carpet entrance, silent auction, a VIP champagne reception, gourmet food stations, the premiere of the "Pittsburgh Stars" video and the LIVE Oscar™ telecast on the BIG SCREEN! A pre-party event, "So You Want to be in Pictures...!" was held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at J. Verno Studios on the South Side. This event was open to sponsors and guests at the Patron Level. Guests at the pre-party had the opportunity to record their favorite movie lines for our "Pittsburgh Stars" video. The annual Academy Awards™ benefit, “Lights! Glamour! Action!” ™ entered into its 10th year as we celebrated another outstanding year of the film industry in our region and supported the mission of the Pittsburgh Film Office (PFO). The PFO is a non-profit economic development agency that markets the southwestern Pennsylvania region to the film industry. SAVE THE DATE: “Lights! Glamour!
