INTERNSHIPS
The Pittsburgh Film Office offers unpaid internships for academic credit each semester, with the following qualifications:
- You must be enrolled in a college or university internship course
- You must have a faculty supervisor monitoring the internship
- 150 hours is our minimum required hours for our internships
Internships can feature 1 of 2 focus areas: Administration and Marketing, or video creation. The administration focus area includes working on administrative projects, maintaining databases for location photo files, researching trade publications, and assisting the office to maintain files for the southwestern Pennsylvania region. Alternatively, students with can intern with the PFO-TV program, where students will research video topics, conduct interviews, shoot and edit videos that celebrate and educate about the entertainment industry in the region.
Deadlines for applying:
- Fall Term: September 1st
- Spring Term: December 1st
- Summer Term: April 1st

Include your resume and cover letter describing why you are the best candidate for the internship and why you want to intern at the Pittsburgh Film Office.
